Walt has over 30 years in the air conditioning and refrigeration fields. In 1982, Walt established East Coast Merchandisers, Inc. then headquartered in Jarrettsville, MD as a manufacturers’ representative agency. Walt relocated the main office to Virginia in August, 1996 while still maintaining the Maryland office. Over the years, Walt has won numerous individual sales awards, as well as six national sales recognition awards. His sales territory includes Virginia and the District of Columbia as well as individual national accounts.

Karen began her career with East Coast Merchandiser part time in 1988 as an administrative assistant to the president. In 1996, Karen was put in charge of the Maryland office and is responsible for all literature requests, warranties and returns, Maryland/Virginia office coordination, salesman contacts and administrative duties.
